Souvenirs from Scrap? A Talk on Regifting

Whenever you look around a home, there’s almost always going to be dozens of little keepsakes, decorations, and general clutter that makes a place feel more lived in. However, once in a while these things add and pile up into a huge mess! Messes cause stress, difficulty finding necessary papers, and other problems. I’ve written about the benefits of decluttering before, but there is one topic that we’re going to have a public talk about soon!

Regifting. That’s right, the big evil word when people get rid of presents that they don’t want, often made fun of in movies by someone giving a regifted item to the very person that gave it to them in the first place.

However, rerigfting isn’t a bad thing. If you’re cleaning out your home and don’t want to donate something (It has sentimental value, etc,) then you can give it away to a friend or family member! This guarantees that your item is going to a good home with someone that knows you. You can make great, personable items and clean out your home at the same time.

There are other benefits to regifting during your decluttering! To hear them, you should join us at Il Fornaio on June 21, 2018, where we’ll be giving a talk with and for the Amazing Care Network & Sterling.
If anyone would like to attend, it is $35.00 if they mention my name!
