Helping People Who Help: Prevent Hunger & Homelessness in Orange County

When you know a group of great people trying to help other people, you can’t help but admire them. We at Nipomo Organizing Solutions, together with our clients, show our admiration by supporting South County Outreach (partner with United Way). Donations from our clients go to this fantastic group of volunteers.

South County Outreach, founded in 1989, is dedicated to providing hunger and homeless prevention services to South Orange County low-income residents and families in crisis. Their mission statement is: To partner to touch lives by preventing hunger and homelessness and to provide individuals, families, and seniors in crisis with the tools that help them help themselves.

Base on their mission statement, South County Outreach has these services that they provide to those in need:

  • A food pantry located at 26676 Vista Terrace, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
  • An upscale resale thrift store at located at 23501 Ridge Route #G, Laguna Hills, CA 92653.
  • A computer learning lab located at 23501 Ridge Rout #G, Laguna Hills, CA 92653.

The food bank really needs help. You can contact them at 949-380-8144 for the types of items they are low on.
