Andi MacCallum from First Team Real Estate is sponsoring your local Shred it and Forget it Event September 14, 2013 between 10 and 1. This opportunity will help you reduce clutter and identity theft! Everyone is welcome to come and shred all of your important documents. This event is at 1500 Block of East Culver in Orange. All shredded materials will be recycled.

Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in Orange County. It is not safe to throw away paperwork that contains any type of confidential information. You will have peace of mind after your material is completely destroyed.

You may be bring items such as:    

  • Tax records
  • Old Bills/Invoices
  • Employment applications
  • Bank statements
  • Business documents
  • Canceled checks
  • Medical records
  • Credit reports

These items are not allowed for shredding and must be removed ahead of time:

  • Plastic bags
  • Binders and folders
  • Computer disks
  • Laminated paper
  • Other non-paper materials
